Post 1: First Time Using a Self Service Portal

My Initial Impression

I’ve always been used to calling support lines, so when I tried a Self Service Portal for the first time, it felt strange. The interface wasn’t complicated, but I wasn’t sure what I was looking at either.


What It Let Me Do

  • Check basic account details.
  • Update small things like contact info.
  • See some notifications I would have missed otherwise.

Final Thought

It wasn’t perfect, but it saved me time. Now I get why people lean on a Self Service Portal instead of waiting on hold.
